Whenever I dedicate my time to one story with the goal of completing it, no matter what stage of the process I’m in, that is when I get flooded with new ideas. As you know I’ve been working on the Charity Graves Series with the intention of having book two out by the end of the year. For those of you who don’t know, the series follows a thirteen year old girl named Charity, her friend/boyfriend Keith, and her bestie, Bethany (A.K.A. Bee) and how they deal with both school and supernatural problems. Currently, this series is scheduled to have about seven books in its entirety. I have two other series planned in this reality as well, one is a backstory series about Charity’s parents and grandparents and what they were like when they were young, the other series is about people from other realms and the difficulties they encounter while the Charity Graves Series is taking place. Either way, all of those stories fall into the young adult, fiction fantasy category.
Latley, oddly enough, I’ve been coming up with ideas for horror stories. I say oddly, because I don’t tend to like scary movies or stories. I’ve also been been thinking of some adult themed realities and even some non-fiction stories dealing with massage therapy or biographies of important family members. I reorganized my vision board so I can see all the stories I plan on writing. The problem I’m having is finding the time to write and actually writing faster.
Its fun to come up with new ideas. The hard part is staying on track with the project I’m working on.
I’ll keep you posted with upcoming events and releases! Talk to you soon.
