I’ve been slowly working on Journey Through Darkness editing the manuscript chapter by chapter, making notes on things I want to change. It’s a very slow moving process. As a mother and a person that works for a living as well, my life can be…full.
Finding time for myself, for my well-being, or to just write can be challenging amidst the responsibilities of caring for a child, husband, home, and work. We all do it though. We all have priorities with dreams and responsibilities. We all need to take care of ourselves while we take care of others even if that means finding time for a hobby.
I have found an outlet in my writing. It calms me down, makes me happy, and is a way of stress reduction for me (most of the time).
I know you and your family are busy preparing for Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Christmas, but through all the preparations I hope that each of you can find some time for relaxation, peace and joy. If you have some time and are out shopping in Bloomingdale this weekend, I’ll be at Half Price Books Sunday I hope you can make it out.
Have a great weekend. I’ll see you soon.
