L.A. Kirchheimer's Story
L.A. Kirchheimer wrote her first short story at the age of nine, discovering what would become a lifelong passion for expressing her creativity. Her imagination simmered along throughout her childhood and into adulthood, finding outlets in an array of ideas as well as a love of reading.
Life had other plans for L.A. Kirchheimer first. Embracing an urge to help people, she trained as a massage therapist, a career she is still active in pursuing. The millions of ideas—and her curiosity about where they led—never left her, though. With the support of family and friends, she embarked on her writing journey towards the completion of her first novel.
I have so many ideas, I have to keep track of them on a vision board!
She has loved every second of the creative process. Her first novel, Secrets in Mystic Woods, is just the beginning of her career as a published author. She hopes that she can inspire others to follow their dreams and use their gifts to make the world a better place.
Born and raised in Chicago’s suburbs, she still resides there today, now with her husband and daughter.
